On Thursday 6 February 2025, local non-profit organisation Inspiring More Sustainability (IMS) presented its programme for 2025/2026 at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

The presentation, hosted by Director of IMS Luxembourg, Nancy Thomas, and Vice-President of IMS Luxembourg, Julien Demoulin, first reflected on the work of the non-profit organisation throughout 2024, highlighting the introduction of fourteen new resources for its members.

The resources introduced in 2024 included reference materials and frameworks for sustainability managers, established standards and certifications for sustainability efforts, and the launch of an educational kit aimed at raising awareness of food waste and the promotion of local and organic food.

Deputy Director of IMS Luxembourg, Sophie Öberg, then undertook a Q&A session with the founder of executive recruitment company GOTOfreedom, Gwladys Costant, and Head of Communications, Sustainability and Communications at ArcelorMittal, Pascal Moisy. This session concentrated on the successes and challenges faced by each company, such as establishing corporate responsibility, defining communication standards for employers, setting strategic visions and introducing operational strategies for employers in different domains.

The presentation then moved on to providing details of the non-profit organisation's ambitions for 2025 and 2026. These revolve around six strategic axes with objectives focusing on providing more practical tools and resources, addressing businesses' concerns, integrating young people into the governance and projects of IMS and supporting Luxembourgish companies through the training provided through the Sustainability Academy and IMS workshops.

Nancy Thomas and Julien Demoulin then returned to the stage to welcome 27 new organisations to the IMS network, as well as celebrating the work undertaken by IMS team members throughout 2024.

Upon completion of the presentation, attendees were invited to a walking lunch where, whilst enjoying food and refreshments, there was the opportunity to network with those in attendance and interact with members of IMS.
