No-Nail Boxes, a member of the ALIPA group, is a Luxembourg specialist of collapsible boxes in plywood and steel for industry which is continuously contributing to the sustainable management of forests in the Grand Duchy.
Within the framework of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy, No-Nail Boxes has placed environmental compliance at the heart of its concerns. As responsible producers of packaging, the company pays particular attention to sustainable development.
It all starts with the choice of materials used to manufacture the plywood folding boxes. Since 5 February 2011, NO-NAIL BOXES has been awarded PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certification which confirms their commitment to promote sustainable forest management.
Created in 1999, the PEFC procedure involves all players in the lumber industry. By obtaining this certification, NO-NAIL BOXES provides proof to their customers that their folding boxes contribute to sustainable forest management, i.e. environmentally friendly, socially beneficial and economically viable forest management.
Plywood is a major component of the raw materials used by the company to manufacture its folding boxes for industry. Therefore, careful selection of suppliers is important since each company with PEFC certification is subject to monitoring and strict control of their wood flows by an independent, qualified and accredited organisation.
Established in Wiltz, No-Nail Boxes has been manufacturing folding plywood and steel crates for industry since 1961. Every year, some 300,000 cases, 90% of which are tailor-made, come out of its production lines. Certified ISO 9001 and 14001, AEO, PEFC, CSR, SuperDrecksKëscht fir Betriber and Dry at Gesond mat System, No-Nail Boxes is integrated in the packaging division of the ALIPA Group, a Luxembourg specialist in industrial packaging and lifting, which counts a total of about 130 employees.
