Tango has announced that it has raised a total of €2,925 in aid of the FNEL Luxembourg scouts as a result of running in the recent ING Luxembourg Night Marathon.
Tango's "go)) go))" initiative allowed representatives to run alongside runners for the last 2km of the marathon distance
The money raised will be entirely donated to finance a hospital for children who are disabled or have received burns, in Nepal.
For the 6th consecutive year, Tango and the organizer of the ING Luxembourg Night Marathon, Step by Step, organised the initiative. The principle is simple: by enrolling in this action, each person donates €5 to run the last 2 kilometers of the race alongside a relative committed to completing the marathon, half marathon or team-run, incentives that are valuable in the final kilometers.
This action again this year was a huge success and complements Tango's CSR programme "We Act", for particular support to communities.
"Congratulations to the 587 runners who, despite a little rain, brought this Saturday good humour and energy, not only for the people they love but also for those, far from here, who need to help from us. It is this team spirit, unity, that we encourage each year in the go)) go)) action. These values are part of our company and make us strong in the challenges that we undertake every day," concluded Luis Camara, Director of Marketing at Tango.
