On Wednesday 28 February 2024, the LCGB trade union confirmed that Carvalho Constructions Générales S.à r.l., based in Colmar-Berg and described as one of the large construction companies in Luxembourg, yesterday informed its 103 employees that it will declare bankruptcy.
The LCGB has stated that the most important thing is to ensure that employees can receive bankruptcy-related compensation as quickly as possible. At the same time, the LCGB will assist employees in establishing their claims and their search for new employment.
A meeting on the exact steps to follow is scheduled to take place this Friday afternoon at the LCGB headquarters, inviting all employees concerned to contact the trade union.
