The Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA) will hold its flagship LPEA Insights private markets conference on Thursday 15 October 2026 at Luxexpo The Box in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
The 2026 edition will be held under the theme “Private Capital at the Crossroads”. According to the LPEA, more than 1,500 participants are expected to attend, with over 100 speakers taking part in the programme. The conference will run from 08:30 to 20:00 in Hall 3.
According to the LPEA, this year's conference will examine the choices facing GPs and LPs amid macroeconomic shifts, artificial intelligence, evolving exit and liquidity dynamics and the opening of private markets to a wider investor base, as well as the paths likely to shape the future private capital landscape. The programme will be divided across three stages. The Insights Stage will focus on markets, strategy and forces reshaping private capital, with discussions covering macroeconomic forces, AI and exit dynamics, evergreen funds, access to private capital, private credit, industry consolidation, secondaries and infrastructure, as well as a keynote on AI in complex environments. The Toolbox Stage will focus on practical expertise in operations, technology, regulation and value creation, with topics including AI implementation, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private assets and unit-linked life insurance, ESG, wealth management infrastructure, mutualisation and standardisation, and digital assets. Meanwhile, the Investment Stage will address allocation, fundraising and cross-border investment, including venture capital allocation, investing beyond borders, Luxembourg from a GP perspective, fund development, fund terms, family governance, the €5 billion Scaleup Europe Fund and the strategic value of data.
