The 6th edition of the SPX International Colloquium will take place in Luxembourg on 6, 7 and 8 October 2025, at LuxExpo The Box in Luxembourg-Kirchberg; under the theme "Patient Experience at the heart of all care", this global gathering is set to be a pivotal moment for professionals committed to advancing patient-centred care and transforming healthcare practices.
A crossroads for global healthcare communities
For three days, healthcare professionals, researchers and decision-makers from around the world will come together to share innovations, build collaborative approaches and co-design new pathways to embed patient experience into all dimensions of care. The Colloquium will foster a dynamic and inclusive space where lived experience, clinical expertise, and system innovation converge.
Multilingual, multidisciplinary and immersive
True to its international spirit, the Colloquium will feature sessions in English and French, offering plenaries, roundtables, communication sessions and hands-on workshops. Key themes will include co-design in care pathways, patient experience as a driver of quality and innovation, measurement tools and cultural change in healthcare institutions.
Renowned international speakers will headline the event, including numerous expert voices from across Europe and beyond. The Scientific Committee will unveil the full programme in the coming months, with a special emphasis on meaningful patient involvement and systemic change.
A symbolic location
The Colloquium will be hosted in the heart of Luxembourg City, a meeting point of European cultures and institutions. Attendees will be welcomed in a venue that reflects the values of openness, participation and innovation that SPX promotes. Cultural and networking activities are also planned to highlight Luxembourg’s unique character and facilitate deeper connections among participants.
This year, the Colloquium will be held within the framework of Healthcare Week Luxembourg. Alongside the sessions on 7 and 8 October, participants will also have access to the event’s conferences and exhibition area at LuxExpo The Box.
Call for contributions and engagement
Healthcare professionals, researchers and people with lived experience are invited to submit abstracts and communication proposals via the SPX website. The Scientific Committee particularly welcomes initiatives that show measurable impact and collaborative design.
Opportunities to volunteer will also be available, supporting the logistics and spirit of the event while engaging with the broader SPX community.
