Luxembourg's Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Health and Social Security and the Accident Insurance Association have reported that the Occupational Health & Safety Forum (Forum sécurité-santé au travail) took place at LuxExpo The Box in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Wednesday 15 May 2024.

Nearly 1,500 visitors were expected to attend this 17th edition, organised by the initiators of VISION ZERO: the Accident Insurance Association (Association d'assurance accident - AAA), the Luxembourg Employers' Association (Union des Entreprises Luxembourgeoises - UEL) and the National Institute for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (Institut national pour développement durable et la responsabilité sociale des entreprises - INDR).

About 100 Luxembourgish and foreign exhibitors presented new developments in occupational health and safety, and 20 thematic workshops on mental health, safety in the construction sector, ergonomics and road safety, among other topics, took place throughout the day.

During the official session, Martine Deprez, Luxembourg's Minister of Health and Social Security, and Georges Mischo, Minister of Labour, delivered the welcome address and awarded the 2024 Occupational Health and Safety Award to the following five winners (for their projects in the field of improving health and safety or well-being at work): Drees & Sommer, Ferro-Tech, Dussmann Service, IFSB and Wallenborn Transports SA.

The general public has until 21 June 2024 to vote for the Audience Award winner(s). Videos explaining the winners' projects and the Audience Award vote are available online at https://visionzero.lu/fr/prix-sst-2024/laureats-2024/.
