Tomorrow Street's flagship tech event, Arch Summit, returned to Luxexpo The Box in Luxembourg-Kirchberg this week.
This two-day event dedicated to "innovation with impact" kicked off on Wednesday 26 October 2022 with a welcome address by Tomorrow Street CEO Kenneth Graham and an opening keynote speech by Luxembourg's Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot. The first day continued with various pitching sessions (Fit 4 Start acceleration programme, Renewable Power Challenge, etc.), keynotes by representatives from Accenture, Deloitte, F5 and Huawei, among others, fireside chats and panel discussions on topics ranging from satellite and terrestrial networks and cybersecurity to driving innovation to address climate change and technological investments in uncertain times and several interviews, tech talks and networking sessions bringing together industry leaders, corporate decision makers, scaleups and startups, government officials and investors, among others. Another highlight was an exchange between climate activist Sophia Kianni with pupils of St George's International School Luxembourg.
Day 2, on Thursday 27 October 2022, began with another Fit 4 Start pitching session, followed by various keynotes, tech talks and panel discussions. In the late morning, Minister Fayot visited various stands and conversed with several exhibitors who were spread across Luxexpo's sizeable exhibition floor, including representatives from Luxinnovation and the Fit 4 Start acceleration programme, startups incubated at the Luxembourg-City Incubator, the University of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT), among others. At the LHoFT Africa Booth, representatives of the fifteen startups selected for the latest edition of the Catapult: Inclusion Africa programme had the opportunity to briefly present their businesses to Luxembourg’s Economy Minister; the pitching session and winners announcement will take place at the LHoFT on Friday 28 October 2022.
Arch Summit 2022 concluded on Thursday evening, having brought together about 5,000 attendees, including more than 100 startups and scaleups, over 100 Vodafone executives and more than 90 corporate sponsors from over 70 countries.
Tomorrow Street is a joint venture between Vodafone and Technoport, Luxembourg's technology incubator, focused on partnering with scaleups and accelerating leading-edge technologies across Vodafone's ecosystem.
