The first-ever Deloitte Momentum Conference will take place in the auditorium of Deloitte Luxembourg's Cloche d'Or building (20 Bd de Kockelscheuer, L-1821) on Tuesday 21 June 2022, from 09:00 to 13:00.
The main focus of this English-language event will be sustainability. In recent years, sustainability has become an imperative increasingly taking centre stage within policymaking, strategy setting and operational processes.
To facilitate knowledge, understanding and connection with this subject, the Deloitte Momentum Conference will embrace a variety of perspectives.
Agenda highlights include:
- Selma Vincent, founding member of Youth For Climate, will outline the effects of climate change and the concrete measures Generation Z is expecting
- A regulatory and legislative horizon panel will discuss whether the EU sustainable finance framework is delivering the expected results
- The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) will present the first results of the Sustainability FinTech Survey, recently conducted together with Deloitte Luxembourg
- Three consecutive sessions will focus on sustainable finance, consumption and production, asking how we can leverage existing structures and processes to make a measurable impact
- A panel discussion with research representatives will debate how to measure sustainability efforts and ways of reporting
- The last panel of the event will assess the role of the Chief Sustainability Officer
The full conference programme is available online at https://www2.deloitte.com/lu/en/events/events/2022/momentum-conference-2022.html
The event will be followed by a sustainable lunch provided by local artisanal companies.
The Deloitte Momentum Conference will also be accompanied by a photo exhibition by French nature and fine art photographer Philippe Bourseiller. The exhibition titled “Nature” will feature the artist’s perspective on the state of sustainable development worldwide with the aim of making viewers reflect on the global phenomenon of climate change.
