Luxembourg-based volunteer group Honey Bee Wild has announced that it is organising, in collaboration with the Swiss group FREETHEBEES, an online conference series entitled "Bees without Borders".
The first event in this online conference series will see Dr Silvio Erler and Dr Jay Evans speak about the honey bee colony and its immune system on Sunday 20 March 2022 from 18:00 to 20:15.
The Bees without Borders conference series is organised by FREETHEBEES (Switzerland) in collaboration with Honey Bee Wild (Luxembourg), Apis Arborea (United States) and the Natural Beekeeping Trust (United Kingdom). The conference series aims to help promote knowledge, awareness and understanding around honey bees and other pollinators, with each online conference simultaneously translated into English, French and German.

When purchasing a ticket, attendees are invited to make a larger financial contribution, if possible, to support financing future events as well as the conservation and safeguarding of wild honey bees.
Honey Bee Wild also invited anyone who finds find honey bees living in trees and human-made structures (except beehives) in Luxembourg to let the volunteer group know where they are so they can monitor them as part of their free-living honey bees project.
