Centre for Ecological Learning Luxembourg (CELL) - the Transition Hub for Luxembourg has announced that it is organising an online conference with Indian activist Dr Vandana Shiva on Saturday 16 January 2021 at 14:30.

The conference, entitled "Activism and self-care: How to remain resistant while committing to a cause?", forms part of the 2020-21 edition of Transition Days Luxembourg.

For decades, Dr Vandana Shiva, an Alternative Nobel Prize laureate, has campaigned in non-violent resistance for food sovereignty and sustainable agriculture. She has become an icon of the anti-globalisation movement.

As part of the Transition Days, Dr Shiva will address the issue of self-care in relation to activism. The Transition Days are about proposing another future. This year's edition revolves around ways of living together in a resilient world.

The conference will be held online in English, with translation into French possible. The event is free but registration is required at docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdwPpkP0ygVPtgpJwNOWmcvKkqFEW43IGUEuYwZcLSVxs5g2w/viewform.
