Professor Michael O'Flaherty, Director of the European Union Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA), will be addressing the public on the issue of fundamental human rights during a Citizens' Dialogue at House of the European Union (7 Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes) in Luxembourg-ville on Wednesday 13 November 2019 from 18:00 to 19:30.

Organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg, the Citizens' Dialogue "Are you human? Then you have rights, fundamental rights!" will see Michael O'Flaherty address issues such as what fundamental rights really are, why they are relevant for everyone and how we come across them in our daily lives, including in our interactions with fellow human beings.

Indeed, the EU prides itself on safeguarding these rights, as proclaimed in the Charter of Fundamental Rights. This event will delve deeper into what these rights really are.
