The Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA) is organising two events at the end of this month: a GP Workshop on 24 April and an ESG Lunch on 26 April 2019.

The first event, the LPEA GP Workshop, will focus on "Analysing the Impact of the new Interest Limitation Rules on Private Equity Investments". The LPEA has organised a series of GP workshops centred around the anti-tax avoidance directives (ATAD/ATAD 2) as well as other tax developments and their impact on private equity investments. This workshop, open to full members only, will focus on analysing the impact of the new interest limitation rules on private equity investments and will include concrete examples and a Q&A session. The event will take place on the premises of ATOZ Tax Advisers Luxembourg. Registration is required at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lpea-gp-workshop-analysing-the-impact-of-the-new-interest-limitation-rules-on-private-equity-tickets-59223413825.

Next on the agenda will be the ESG Lunch on "EU ESG Regulation and the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Roadmap", taking place on 26 April at PwC Crystal Park. This second LPEA ESG lunch will address the latest developments on the regulation that is discussed both at European level and national level to foster the adoption of ESG standards in the PE sector. On this occasion, there will be a discussion with Anna Lekston, Head of Public Affairs of Invest Europe and Jennifer de Nijs, Advisor of the Ministry of Finance. The event is again exclusively reserved for LPEA members. More information on the lunch and registration is available at https://www.lpea.lu/2019/03/28/esg-lunch-eu-esg-regulations-and-the-luxembourg-sustainable-finance-roadmap/.
