As part of the International Year on Soils, the Administration of Agricultural Technical Services in Luxembourg is organising a themed day around the organic matter and biodiversity in soils.

This theme day will be held Tuesday 24 November 2015 from 08:30 - 17:00 at the Lycée technique agricole (Agricultural Technical School) in Ettelbruck (72 avenue Lucien Salentiny), with the conference to be held in French.

The conference will cover: Distribution and organic carbon storage in Luxembourg soils and European trends in stocks, identification of soils at risk nationally, effect of reduced tillage and organic inputs on soil functioning, biodiversity and relevant biological indicators of soil quality, interactions with climate change.
