Lux Comedy and InternationalComedians.com have announced the grand premiere of their "Pro English Specials" at the INNSiDE by Meliá Luxembourg hotel (12 Rue Henri M. Schnadt, 2530 Luxembourg), which is taking place on Sunday 31 October 2021 from 19:00 to 21:00.
For this first show, which will be entirely in English, headliner George Zach (Greece) will take the stage, accompanied by support act Stephen Bell (Ireland) and MC host Joe Eagan (Canada).
George Zach moved from Greece to study Biochemistry in Newcastle Upon Tyne (UK) and in so doing, avoided having to join the Greek army for his national service. He discovered stand-up comedy years later, with his first gig taking place on St Patrick’s Day in a dark room above a pub in Newcastle’s city centre. Fortunately for him, it turned out that he had a grasp of the English language as well as a talent for the art of comedy and soon he went on to play all over the United Kingdom and abroad at some of the most prestigious comedy clubs, such as The Comedy Store and Glee. He has also appeared at the Edinburgh Festival in the CKP LunchTime Special.
Stephen Bell is a "comedic force of nature whose wild tangents take you down unexpected rabbit holes", according to one reviewer. He is an Irish-Dutch comedian at the top of his game who leaves audiences giggling and smiling all the way home.
