The Irish Club of Luxembourg (ICL) is organising a Summer Meal on Saturday 19 June 2021, at 12:00 for 12:30.
Members and non-members alike will be dining on the River Moselle on board the vintage boat (La Péniche Vintage) which has a capacity of just over 40 people. This boat is permanently moored at the quayside in Remich beside the bus station.
While COVID-19 restrictions are starting to ease, and many people are eager to participate in such events, the club is also very conscious that some people are still very cautious about venturing out and socialising. The club will be ensuring that all restrictions are fully adhered to, including social distancing, the numbers of people allowed at a table and the wearing of masks. Tables are for 2, 4 and 6 people.
Those attending will be dining à la carte (see https://www.vintageboat.lu/files/media/carte-vintage/2021/carte-ete-2021-FR-page-par-page.pdf) which also includes a children's menu.
Those interested can also go on a 70-minute cruise up and down the Moselle River, on board the Roude Léiw, the flagship of the Navitours fleet, after the meal, departing at 15:30. Tickets €10/person, to be purchased at the Navitours ticket office individually before boarding the vintage boat (just mention that you are with the Irish Club).
To reserve your place, please contact Fiona Mulhern (email: fiona.mulhern@gmail.com) and pay a (non-refundable) deposit of €15/person to the ICL's bank account (BIC code BGLLLULL; IBAN LU08 0030 2513 4451 0000) to arrive by 14 June, mentioning the names of people attending in the communication. This amount will then be deducted from each person’s meal invoice from Navitours. Deposits are not required for accompanied children.
