The Luxembourg Polish School Parents Association, together with Polish School and Polish Pre-School, have announced that they will be holding their annual Children’s Day this year on Sunday 5 June 2016 from 11:00 to 18:00 at the Parc de Sports et Loisirs “Caper Piwitschen” in Capellen.

All families with children, irrespective of their age and nationality, are welcome to attend this great family picnic event that is being organised to celebrate International Children’s Day. Entry is free.

There will be various stands with continuous attractions including a bouncy castle, hair painting, stone decorating and many others. On top of that there will be a special programme prepared by different partners: for older children a City game as well as sport activities coordinated by Sport.lu and Krav Maga Luxembourg. For the youngest children, the international teams of Gymboree Play and Music, Little Gym and La Main Tendue a.s.b.l. have prepared different fun activites including parachutes, bubbles and GYMBO dance.

For the books fans of all ages and nationalities, a book-swapping corner, where one can bring old books and exchange them for those brought by others. Those attending will be able to taste Polish cuisine with traditional dumplings prepared by the restaurant Nova Osada, a barbecue and delicious homemade cakes.

Note: parents remain responsible for their children throughout the day.
