The Consulate General of Luxembourg in New York has announced two upcoming musical events in the Big Apple featuring artists from the Grand Duchy.
The first performance will see German-Luxembourgish singer Adrienne Haan star in “Between Fire & Ice”: A Weimar Berlin Republic Cabaret to honour the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I and the birth of the Weimar Republic 100 years ago (1918-2018). The show will take place tomorrow, Wednesday 4 April 2018, at 19:00 at The Triad Theater (158 West 72nd Street,York, NY 10023). Tickets cost $24 (orchestra or balcony) and include two beverages minimum. These are available on http://www.triadnyc.com/.
The second musical event will be “Concert in the Dark” featuring Caroline Mirkes, Luxembourg composer/cellist and co-founder of Performers.lu. The concert will take place this Saturday 7 April 2018 at 20:00 at Areté Venue & Gallery (67 West Street - Room 103, Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY 11222). Tickets cost $21 or $12 students and are available via https://performers.lu/content/contemporary-art-salon-ticket.
