A joint concert of Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony Orchestra (CYWS) and the Orchestre symphonique des élèves du conservatoire will take place at the Conservatoire de la Ville du Luxembourg in Merl on Sunday 19 June 2016 at 20:00.
Since June 1994, when on its first international tour, the CYWS traveled the world and performed in notable venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Barcelona Cathedral, and the Basilica of St Stefan in Budapest.
By inviting this prestigious orchestra, the Conservatoire de Luxembourg continues to exert international influence while giving the opportunity to the two orchestras to play a high-level symphonic repertoire and to offer young talents the opportunity to meet and practice in a professional setting.
Marc Meyers will conduct the symphony orchestra of the conservatory students and Gary M. Ciepluch will conduct the CYWS.
