The Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg has announced its programme for January ahead of its reopening on Saturday 16 January 2021.
The Cinémathèque will reopen its doors to spectators this Saturday after a second COVID-19-related closure.

In accordance with the government's COVID-19 measures, the following rules will apply from the reopening of the Cinémathèque on 16 January 2021:
- the number of places are reduced to ensure physical distancing; spectators are adviced to purchase tickets in advance online at www.luxembourg-ticket.lu;
- only people from the same household can be seated together. In this case, it is recommended to purchase group tickets;
- the evening box office will open to the public half an hour before the screenings (subject to availability of tickets); card payment is preferred;
- numbered seats will be allocated to ticket holders; these seat numbers must be respected;
- wearing a mask or an equivalent face covering is compulsory, including during screenings;
- disinfectant gels will be available at various strategic locations within the cinema;
- additional and rigorous cleaning procedures will be implemented;
- spectators must follow the instructions of staff memers, who have been trained to answer various questions.
