The China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (Chinalux) has announced that it is organising an event dedicated to "ESG on the Front Line" at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Tuesday 8 November 2022 from 18:00 to 21:00.

According to Chinalux, an organisation's security risk exposure is impacted by how well they manage environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. Complex community relations, environmental degradation or corruption can create security challenges or even crises. ESG performance can be affected by how both physical and digital security functions are designed and run. As has been demonstrated in previous incidents, getting this wrong can lead to significant brand and reputational issues, share price implications and business disruption.

During this event, an expert panel of speakers will discuss these issues and an "acceptance approach to security", i.e. a risk management strategy based on reducing threats, by reducing the motivation of others to harm.
