On Friday 24 October 2025, BNP Paribas reported that its employees in Luxembourg - at BGL BNP Paribas - recently engaged in charitable activities as part of the "Help2Help" programme.

The sixteenth edition of the programme saw fourteen charitable projects receive support totalling €40,994. Involvement ranged from providing hot meals and protecting the environment to supporting the most vulnerable in society.

Launched in Luxembourg in 2010, Help2Help recognises employees, both active and retired, who volunteer for charities. Beyond financial support, the programme aims to strengthen the impact of projects that improve daily life in a variety of areas such as education, health, social inclusion, the environment and humanitarian aid, according to the bank.

This year, the "Coup de Cœur" Award went to "Iles de Paix", a Belgian non-profit organisation that works for sustainable development and fights poverty in southern Africa and Latin America. The supported project is called "Towards a sustainable, healthy food system that provides opportunities for Ugandan youth". Its aim is to enable farming families and other local players, particularly women, to improve their living conditions by jointly developing sustainable food systems and preserving a healthy environment.

Operating in about 20 countries, the Help2Help programme reportedly demonstrates the international aspect of the BNP Paribas Group's commitment to solidarity. For over 20 years, it has "embodied the belief that every employee can contribute, in their own way, towards building a more inclusive and responsible society."

Béatrice Belorgey, Chair of the Executive Committee of BGL BNP Paribas and Head of BNP Paribas Group entities in Luxembourg, pointed out: "Our responsibility as a company goes beyond our banking activities. Through Help2Help, we empower our employees to take concrete action to build a more caring and inclusive society. This collective commitment is a real strength for our group.”
