On Wednesday 23 April 2025, a formerly-commissioned bus t the CFL was presented to the association "Le Convoi du Cœur," represented by Mohamed Habbaz, who received the key to the bus from Carlo Hansen, CFL Bus Service Manager.

The MAN diesel bus, which has 54 seats, was donated to the association for a symbolic €1.

According to the CFL, after twelve years of loyal service on the RGTR lines served by the CFL, where it has travelled a total of 989,878 kilometres, the bus is now setting off on its longest journey yet to southern Morocco. In the city of Guelmim, nicknamed the "Gateway to the Sahara," it will transport young people to their school and after-school sports activities.

In the coming days, the bus will depart for Marseille; a ferry will then take it to the other side of the Mediterranean.

"I welcome this wonderful initiative from our Bus Service, which proves that solidarity is an integral part of our daily lives at CFL, and I am particularly delighted to be able to support children and young people," said Marc Wengler, Director General of CFL, who was present at the ceremony alongside Jeannot Waringo, Chairman of the CFL Board of Directors, and Sophie Lacour, Director of Passenger Activities at CFL.
