On Wednesday 11 December 2024, the Belle Etoile shopping centre announced that it recently donated €1,500 to the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner.
The Belle Etoile awarded this local non-profit organisation, which supports children with cancer and rare life-threatening diseases (plus their families), a cheque for €1,500 from the proceeds of its Hallowe’en initiative, which took place at the end of October 2024.
The initiative involved the public creating their own bag of treats, from sweets provided free of charge by the shopping centre. The action raised a total of €710, which the Belle Etoile rounded up to €1,500.
