The City of Luxembourg has reported that Saint Nicholas - or the "Kleeschen" in Luxembourgish - visited the children at Cent Buttek Beggen on Saturday 7 December 2024.

The Kleeschen, accompanied by "Père Fouettard" or the "Houseker", visited the children of beneficiaries of Cent Buttek Beggen at the Centre Prince Henri in Walferdange on Saturday. He reportedly received a warm welcome from the volunteers of Cent Buttek, as well as Corinne Cahen, Luxembourg City alderwoman responsible for social affairs, and François Sauber, the mayor of Walferdange, with which the City of Luxembourg has signed an agreement concerning the Cent Buttek food bank.

This meeting was an opportunity for the children to receive a bag of sweets from the Kleeschen and to enjoy games provided by Joujoumobile / Spillmobil. TABA was also present to distribute toys to the children.

As in previous years, Cent Buttek also organised a free raffle and distributed gifts to families.
