The association "Stand Speak Rise Up" has recently published its 2023 annual report.

The report gives an overview of the twelve projects, in eight countries, carried out in 2023 supporting more than 2,360 survivors and children born of rape. 

It also includes information on the association's advocacy activities as well as accounting results. 

Stand Speak Rise Up continues to fight against rape as a weapon of war (sexual violence in armed conflict), to give a voice to survivors and to support them in their recovery.

The 36-page report presented details on how more than 46,000 people have been supported since the initiative was established in 2019. It includes details of its projects in countries including Afghanistan, Somalia, Congo, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, South Sudan, Cuba and Uganda, as well as the various events it organised and participated in during the past year to raise awareness of the initiative and the issues.

It also include a couple of witness accounts as well as an overview of its finances which show a total income of over €572,000 in 2023, out of which move that €377,000 went directly to the twelve projects.
