The Rotaract Club of Luxembourg, following their annual Fundraising for Kleeschen event, has donated €3,697 to Stëmm vun der Strooss,  a local non-profit organisation which supports homeless people and vulnerable members of society.

The Rotaract Club of Luxembourg is a global community of adults between the ages of eighteen and 30 who take action in their communities, develop their leadership, professional skills and promote global friendship and understanding.

To honour this donation, Stëmm vun der Strooss invited the Rotaract Club to visit their premises in Hollerich for a thank you drink on Tuesday 10 May 2022. Represented by Lana Stetchi, Vice President, Justine Claude, Treasurer, and Demetra Mintseva, Fundraising Coordinator, the Rotaract Club of Luxembourg presented the cheque to Bob Ritz, Communications Officer at the Stëmm vun der Strooss.

The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss various issues related to social problems. It also was an opportunity for the Stëmm vun der Strooss to show the Rotaract Club representatives around their headquarters in Hollerich in hopes for the club to get a better picture and gain a greater understanding of the work that has been and is currently being done by the association.

The donation will contribute towards the Caddy 2 project, enabling professional integration of 90 people in Luxembourg.
