On Thursday 28 April 2022, the Kanner Wonsch Luxembourg foundation, previously known as Make-A-Wish Luxembourg, has fulfilled the wish of Caroline, a 4-year-old who is suffering from a brain tumor, to have a Princess Tea Party with her closest friends.

Like many little girls, Caroline enjoys dressing up as a princess. The wish team organised a Royal Tea Party worthy of the highest of nobility.

In the morning, with the assistance of Eleni Ateliers in Sierck-les-Bains, Caroline decorated cookies and cakes to serve her guests. After creating these special treats, Caroline dressed for her royal tea party.

Donning her gown and tiara, Princess Caroline and her royal family were brought by limousine to Schauwenburg Castle in Bertrange. There, the royal family was joined by friends to enjoy treats made by Caroline, as well as other delicacies prepared by the volunteers.

After their meal, a volunteer face painter transformed the children into the animals and creatures of their dreams. Next, the children enjoyed royal games such as pin the hair on Rapunzel and musical thrones.

This wonderful tea party concluded with a royal photo shoot. The guest left the castle full of joyful memories. Caroline's "Royal Tea Party" will remain forever etched in our hearts.

Kanner Wonsch thanked the following organisations and individuals for their support:
