Luxembourg non-profit organisation Catch a Smile asbl has announced that it is organising a "Winter Clothing Drive" aimed at collecting winter clothing and equipment for refugees in Bosnia.
The drive will take place on Saturday 9 January 2021, with those wishing to help out asked to drop off (without physical contact) their donations at Hall Fondoucq in Dudelange (Route de Thionville) between 10:00 and 15:00.
The organisation will only be collecting the following men's clothing in sizes small to large: water-resistant winter coats; jumpers and hoodies; trousers; hiking shoes and trainers (sports shoes) in sizes 40-44; socks; thermal underwear; gloves, hats and scarves. The following items are also accepted: blankets (no duvets); backpacks (all sizes); sleeping bags. The items should be dropped off clean and in good condition.
The collection is being organised in collaboration with the town of Dudelange and "Diddeleng hëlleft". Only the items listed above (and in the attached flyer) will be accepted at this time.
