Caritas Luxembourg has relaunched its annual "Zäit verschenken" initiative to encourage people to give the gift of time to their friends and family during the festive period.
During the days before Christmas, we often ask ourselves what we could give as gifts to our loved ones. Why not give them some of our time? Caritas pointed out that our consumption style often has a negative impact on other people in the world and on our planet.
Through the Zäit verschenken initiative, which is organised every year at Christmas, Caritas Luxembourg invites people to give their time to their family and friends and proposes cake recipes to bake together and share with those we love.
The recipes are available on the Caritas Luxembourg website as well as its Facebook page. Spices for making cakes can be requested via email: plaidons@caritas.lu.
