Members of the André Losch Foundation have donated two vehicles to the Autism Foundation Luxembourg.
On 24 July 2018, the André Losch Foundation presented the Autism Foundation Luxembourg (FAL) with the keys of two vehicles to support the activities of one of its Rambrouch centres.
The FAL was founded in 1996 by a group of parents concerned with the aim of promoting, defending and caring for the rights of people with autism. They expressed their will to offer their children a care adapted to their disability in order to develop their autonomy in a suitable living environment, regardless of the severity of their disability.
Autism is a serious disability that affects 1 in 100 people, or about 6000 people in Luxembourg. The FAL regularly organises excursions with its beneficiaries. They also accompany them to doctor appointments, therapy sessions or when they go shopping.
The two vehicles that are now available to the foundation have been adapted to the needs of users and allow a facilitated and secure use for their transport. They will help improve the quality of life of people with autism by improving their daily lives in general.
