As in previous years, the energy supplier Enovos this year also supported the "Relay pour la Vie" initiative of the Cancer Foundation; Enovos Luxembourg S.A., represented by Mr. Erny Huberty, head of the Corporate Marketing Department, presented a cheque for €5,379 euros to the Cancer Foundation, represented by its director, Lucienne Thommes.
This amount is equivalent to the kilometers pedaled by the visitors (1km = 1 euro) during the whole weekend dedicated to the fight against cancer. The maintenance of used bicycles was generously supported by Andy Schleck Cycles.
For 13 years, the Cancer Foundation has organised the "Relay pour la Vie". This great event, in Luxembourg, demonstrates the solidarity of all with patients and strives to break the taboo of cancer.
The Cancer Foundation is a public utility, created in 1994, with 3 objectives: cancer information, help for cancer patients and financial support for research. To achieve these goals, the Cancer Foundation carries out numerous actions and publications and offers various services to patients. All these activities can only be carried out thanks to the generosity of individuals and companies willing to commit to society, like Enovos.
