Luxair Presents €10k Cheque to Luxembourg Red Cross

As part of its Donation Month 2018, LuxairGroup presented a cheque for €10,000 to the Luxembourg Red Cross.

LuxairGroup, which pledged itself to the Red Cross on the occasion of Donation Month 2018, presented the cheque to its partner on 30 May 2018, having raised the sum thanks to the generosity of its passengers and the involvement of its staff.

From 1-30 April 2018, some 2,000 volunteers travelled the country for a large fundraising event to give the Luxembourg Red Cross the means to fulfil its mission of helping the most vulnerable. This month was also an opportunity to meet the Luxembourg company and explain the actions, aided by the collected donations, implemented in the Grand Duchy and abroad. 

For 8 years, LuxairGroup has joined these actions and this year was no different: Luxair flight attendants mobilised to raise awareness and collect donations. To ensure maximum visibility, the communication around this action developed through multiple LuxairGroup supports and the involvement of the cabin crew, who took the project to the heart of the passengers, thus enabling the collection of nearly €5,000.

LuxairGroup then decided to highlight this great momentum of solidarity by doubling the amount collected.
