The Talkwalker Challenge 2017 has raised €3,049 for SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde, to protect the children of Conakry in Guinea.

For the second time, the Talkwalker team, a platform specialised in monitoring and analysing the web and social networks, held a sporting challenge with the aim of strengthening the care and protection of children in vulnerable neighbourhoods in Conakry, the capital of Guinea.

This SOS programme involves the participation of children, families, seniors and community leaders to foster the development of a strong community that can protect and care for children to grow up in resilient families who can take on their parenting role.

Talkwalker employees once again counted the kilometres they ran during the month of September 2017 using a mobile application, ultimately completing a total of 3,049 kilometres. The distance was rewarded with a donation of €1/kilometre.

On 21 March 2018, the members of the activities committee presented a cheque to Sophie Glesener, director of SOS Children's Villages World, who expressed her gratitude to the Talkwalker team and management. The team stressed that "only a strong and supportive team can meet challenges. We are very proud to be able to add our stone to the building of a sustainable development of these communities of Conakry in Guinea".
