The team of voluntary hairdressers at Stëmm vun der Strooss has been bolstered by two new volunteers.
To date, the team has consisted of Elena Cariers-De Cilla and Paula Vidal; it has now been enlarged by two new volunteers, Amina Dos Reis (who benefits from a professional reintegration programme) and David Conrath. These four hairdressers offer their services one Monday per month.
Apart from these monthly appointments, free hairctus are offered each Monday between 13:00 and 16:30. In general 12 people each week benefit from that service to get thair hair done without charge.
The Stëmm offers numerous other services, such as changing rooms, showers and laundry at their sites in Hollerich and Esch-sur-Alzette, for the disadvantaged including the homeless.
