On Tuesday 4 February 2025, Luxembourg-based airport transportation company, Flibco.com, launched a new initiative called “Managers for Future”.
In a statement, the company explained that the goal of this initiative is to prioritise the health of its managers and improve the efficiency of the company. It clarified that the programme is completely financed by flibco.com and developed in collaboration with Dr Carolin Baumgartner, described as a specialist in predictive and personalised health strategies, and the German professional football club, TSG Hoffenheim. The programme will focus on providing holistic health support to flibco.com’s managers.
The statement added that over the past years, under the leadership of CEO Tobias Stüber, flibco.com has demonstrated how modern workplaces can thrive through progressive management practices. Initiatives like management by expertise and the introduction of a four-day workweek are reported to have helped the company achieve remarkable results, including a reduction in the sickness rate to under 1%.
Flibco.com clarified that, during 2025, a pilot group of fifteen managers will benefit from continuous healthcare usually associated with top athletes. Participation is entirely voluntary and confidential and will allow the managers to access an extensive health examination programme led by Dr Baumgartner. The programme aims to enhance the participants' long-term performance and overall well-being.
Flibco.com highlighted that a key aspect of the programme is its focus on mental health. Consequently, TSG Hoffenheim is expected to provide advanced support through personality analyses, stress assessments and psychological counselling. If the pilot phase proves successful, the company confirmed that the initiative will be extended to all employees, again on a voluntary basis.
The statement added that Flibco’s CEO, Tobias Stüber, believes that employees’ well-being is the key for modern management, emphasising that healthy employees are both more balanced and more productive, which aligns with flibco.com’s mission to foster innovation and serve as a role model for modern workplaces. The statement noted that the company has an international team of highly motivated employees, the lowest sickness rates in the region and an increase in turnover and overall profitability, while successfully implementing new ways of working adapted to a global and fast-growing digital world.
The statement concluded that, with the "Managers for Future" programme, flibco.com will continue to lead the way in creating a forward-thinking work environment that prioritises employee well-being as well as long-term success.
