BDO Belgium and BDO Luxembourg recently announced their decision to collaborate in a joint venture aimed at offering a range of services tailored to the specific needs of clients in the cross-border region.
With this in mind, the two entities have opened two new offices in Pommerloch (Luxembourg) and Arlon (Belgium). "Clients in the cross-border region will thus have the opportunity to contact a single point of contact, where all the finance, accounting and tax knowledge of both countries is gathered at a local level," explained Fabrice Grognard and Jacques Peffer, members of the boards of directors of BDO Belgium and BDO Luxembourg.
The Belgium and Luxembourg entities stressed the importance BDO attaches to local anchoring and physical proximity to the client. "In the border areas of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, we regularly meet clients with interests in both countries or who need skills that are not readily available locally. These people will now be able to ask all their questions to a single point of contact, who will have all the necessary expertise in finance, accounting and taxation," added Fabrice Grognard and Jacques Peffer. "This new entity will also allow us to make a wide range of expertise available to clients in both countries."
The offices of the joint venture have recently opened their doors in Pommerloch and in Arlon. In addition to bi-national fiduciary services, this new structure will also allow BDO to provide entrepreneurs in the region with the multidisciplinary skills of BDO Luxembourg and BDO Belgium. Together, the entities boast more than 1,500 experts in various fields such as audit and advisory in the broad sense (including business acquisition and disposal, strategy and transformation, digitalisation, ESG, interim management).
BDO is an internationally active consulting organisation working in the fields of Audit, Accounting & Reporting, Tax and Advisory.
