About 40 women came together for a day of workshops and networking, as part of the Peanut Project, at Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg-Merl on Saturday 11 November 2023.
Organised by Lëtz Rise Up and She_Builds Global Initiative, this female entrepreneurship event took the form of workshops led by guest speakers Victoria Honey (sexologist and mental health coach), Jana Degrott (politician and co-founder of We Belong), Marlee Dos Reis (founder of IMANI), Neha Bhandari (founder of StylizedU) and Shaïna Silva (founder of She_Builds Global Initiative).
The discussion topics touched on coming out of one’s comfort zone and taking the challenge to start one’s own business, learning from experts who have successfully established businesses here in Luxembourg, and above all how to leverage one’s small business using digital marketing tools.
Speaking to Chronicle.lu, Roberta Miller, She_Builds BENELUX Ambassador and co-organiser of the event, said: “The Peanut Project is all about empowering women and encouraging them to start their own businesses and we have been able to successfully foster a community of entrepreneurial women in Luxembourg. Every year this project brings more and more women who are eager to learn more and we are looking forward to the next Peanut Project in 2024.”
