Luxembourg's General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises has recalled that the deadline to apply for certain non-repayable financial support measures for businesses is fast approaching.

The stimulus aid and the aid scheme to support uncovered costs in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, covering the period from November 2020 to June 2021, are set  to expire on Wednesday 15 September 2021.

Businesses and self-employed persons who meet the necessary criteria and who have not yet submitted a request for this aid can do so via Guichet.lu by 15 September at the latest. Information regarding the various related procedures are also available on this website. Eligible businesses or individuals will be paid within one week for stimulus aid and within two weeks for aid to support uncovered costs.

Moreover, applications for assistance in compensating for the increase in the social minimum wage must be submitted by 30 September 2021 at the latest. The form for submitting such a request is also available on Guichet.lu.

Luxembourg's Minister for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Lex Delles, stressed that “the General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises treats each application quickly and carefully in order to guarantee effective support. It is, however, essential that requests be made as soon as possible. That is why I invite all eligible businesses and the self-imployed to apply for assistance in good time".
