The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) for Luxembourg has announced a live online event, entitled "Tackling the Economic Challenges of Coronavirus and the End of the UK Transition Period", taking place on Thursday 26 November 2020 at 13:30 (12:30, UK time).

This upcoming BCC Leadership Programme event, organised by the BCC in partnership with the BCC UK, will see Philip Hammond, the UK's former Chancellor of the Exchequer and Foreign Secretary, share his thoughts on the current economic climate and how to drive the economy forward.

In addition, Dr Adam Marshall, Director General of the BCC, will address the challenges faced by UK business as a result of one of the biggest economic crises of our time, as well as new ways for the country to interact and trade with the rest of the world after the end of the Brexit transition period.

Discussions will reflect on what policy interventions are needed to weather this unprecedented economic storm. They will explore a potential road to the recovery of future resilience and sustainability in businesses, discussing innovation and new technologies as drivers for enhanced productivity, new skills and jobs and a stronger economy.
