The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) for Luxembourg has announced that it is organising, in partnership with Luxembourg Times, a live online event entitled "BREXIT: Level playing fields, fish and the way forward" on Wednesday 18 November 2020 at 18:00.

As the United Kingdom and the European Union turn into the home straight before the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020, distinguished panellists will come together to share their observations on what the finish line will look like and provide an update on the key areas of financial services and taxation.

Following an introduction by the British Ambassador to Luxembourg, John Marshall, experts in the relevant fields will present updates on topics such as the movement of people, VAT, transport and other important issues affected by Brexit.

Speakers:

Martin Hollywood, Partner at PwC Luxembourg

Nicolas Mackel, CEO of Luxembourg for Finance

James Martin, Director of Policy at BCC UK

Jérôme Wigny,  Partner at Elvinger Hoss Prussen

The discussion will be moderated by Zuzanna Reda-Jakima, journalist at Luxembourg Times.

A Q&A session will follow with the experts. Anyone with questions for the speakers can send an email to info@bcc.lu.
