The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) for Luxembourg has announced that it will be holding its next "Legal Breakfast Briefing" on the subject of "Register of Beneficial Owners - what you need to know", on Friday 25 October 2019 at 08:30 at Melia Hotel in Luxembourg-Kirchberg (1 Park Drai Eechelen, L-1499).

This members-only event, organised in partnership with Bonn Steichen Partners (BSP) and STEP Benelux, looks at the Luxembourg law of 13 January 2019 that imposes an obligation on entities registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register to declare their beneficial owners on the register of beneficial ownership (RBO).

The BSP, together with the BCC, will guide participants through the key points which they need to know about the RBO with some practical insight regarding the implementation of the new RBO rules; STEP will elaborate on how the RBO works for trusts, foundations and insurance policies.

Speaking at this informative and practical session will be Pierre-Alexandre Degehet, Partner, Corporate M&A, Capital Markets, Fintech at BSP, and Paolo Panico, Paolo Panico's Law Chambers, Deputy Chairman of the STEP Benelux branch and Chairman of the STEP Europe Region.

The morning will begin at 08:30 with registration and welcome coffee. The conference is scheduled to begin at 08:45. To close the morning, coffee will be provided and, as always, there will be the opportunity to meet and discuss with fellow Members and the panellists.

This event is free of charge for BCC & STEP members, however registration is required at https://www.bcc.lu/events/upcoming-events/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/event/info&reset=1&id=221.
