Nordea today announced the appointment of new members to Group Executive Management (GEM).
Erik Ekman, 46, has been appointed new Head of Wholesale Banking whilst Snorre Storset, 43, has become new Deputy Head of Wealth Management, with both positions with Group Executive Management of the financial services company.
Erik Ekman has previously held several positions at Nordea Markets within Wholesale Banking since joining Nordea in 2008. He most recently held the position of Co-Head of Markets FICC.
Snorre Storset has been Head of Nordea Life & Pensions since 2012. In addition to his new role as Deputy Head of Wealth Management, he will head a new Private Banking unit combining the Private Banking units in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and International.
