The Mullerthal regional tourist office (Office Régional du Tourisme Région Mullerthal - Petite Suisse Luxembourgeoise) has reported that the winning photographs of its #MULLERTHALTRAILMOMENTS competition have been printed as postcards, which are now available to order.
This year, the 112 km-long Mullerthal Trail celebrated its fifteenth anniversary. It also once again received the "Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe" label in 2023. To celebrate these milestones, the regional tourist office launched a photo competition on social media.
Between 14 April and 15 August 2023, participants in the competition captured their best moments on the Mullerthal Trail and then shared them on Instagram with the hashtag #MULLERTHALTRAILMOMENTS (also tagging the relevant account).
After the deadline, a jury consisting of partners from the region selected the ten best photographs. These photos were then printed as postcards, which are now available in the online shop of the regional tourist office.
The official presentation of the winning photos (printed in large format on easels for the occasion) and the prize-giving ceremony of the competition took place in Schoos on Thursday 16 November 2023.
