Luxembourg's Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, opened the trophy ceremony for the 2020 edition of Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg, which was held virtually on Thursday due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This event marked the end of the activities that took place in Luxembourg between 19 and 29 October 2020 as part of the 8th edition of European Cyber Security Month, an awareness campaign organised every October by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the European Commission, in partnership with EU Member States.

Around 20 events took place during Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg 2020, which brought together the main players in the Luxembourg ecosystem, professional associations as well as representatives of industry and banks. Resilience, collaboration and strengthening of the ecosystem were the key words of this edition, marked by the pandemic.
