Tuesday 6 October 2015 represented the second edition of the Healthcare Summit, assembling several speakers and panel discussions on the topic of technology, with the main theme of this year being 'La Santé Connectée' ('Connected Health').
The event was concluded with an awards ceremony, congratulating the best practices of the medical sector. Included in these was the 'Best Communication' prize, awarded to the Doctena online agenda by a jury panel comrpised of doctors and other medical professionals. Doctena is an online site dedicated to uniting members of the public with healthcare professionals to match their specific needs.
Upon accepting the award, CEO and founder of Doctena, Patrick Kersten, stated that he "feels encouraged in this process of simplification of the medical booking; this award constitutes a real acknowledgement from the Luxembourg medical community for our services".
