A 27 year-old Belgian motorcyclist from Verviers who was critically injured in an accident on 6 January 2018 on the CR325 between Drauffelt and Eschweiler, has died in hospital.
The accident happened at around 14:00. According to the police, the motorcycle went out of control as it came across surface oil on the wet road and the rear wheel lost grip on the road. The motorcycle crashed into a roadside tree.
The motorcyclist had been taken by ambulance to hospital in Ettelbruck with injuries that were described as critical. He was later transferred to a hospital in Belgium where he died from his injuries at the week-end.
