Luxembourg's Customs and Excise Administration has confirmed that, last week, officials of the Anti-Drug Department intercepted drugs twice in the same day.

First, two Luxembourgers, aged 24 years old and 34 years old, who were on their way back from a trip from the Netherlands, were caught with 19 grams of marijuana, 12 grams of hashish, and just under a kilo of "spacecakes". Both men were cautioned and the goods were confiscated.

A short while later, the customs officers were even more successful. "Arco" from the Canine unit sniffed out a 20-year-old Dutchman, who transported a total of 1.12 kilos of marijuana in a specially designed hiding-place.

On the order of the public prosecutor's office, both the drugs and the car were confiscated; the man was arrested.
