On Monday 28 September 2026, Grand Ducal Police launched an appeal for witnesses following a road accident involving a scooter on the CR152 between Mondorf-les-Bains and Buermerange, taking place on Friday 25 September 2026.
Police were informed of the accident at around 17:30 on Friday. Upon arrival, officers found a scooter registered in France damaged in a field near the road. The rider received first aid at the scene before being taken to hospital.
According to initial information, the rider lost control of the vehicle for reasons that remain unclear while navigating a bend. The scooter came to a stop on a type of drain along the roadside before the rider was thrown into the field. People who first arrived at the scene provided first aid.
The injured rider was reportedly suffering from memory loss and was unable to provide information about how the accident occurred.
Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen the accident or who can provide information about the circumstances of the incident, the scooter or its rider.
