On Saturday 15 November 2025, the Grand Ducal Police reported a number of burglaries which occurred across the afternoon of Friday 14 through to the early hours of Saturday 15 November 2025.

According to the police, on the afternoon of Friday 14 November, an unknown perpetrator gained access to an unlocked vehicle on Route d’Esch in Belvaux. They stole a remote control for a garage door, used it to open the door, entered the garage and stole a handbag containing money. During their escape, they threw the handbag — without the money — into a hedge.

On Friday 14 November, at around 19:00, a break-in was reported in Cité Jean Souvignier in Bissen. A window on the upper floor had been smashed. Inside, the perpetrators ransacked several rooms. Several valuable watches were stolen.

Also on Friday 14 November, at around 20:20, another break-in was reported, this time in Eischen in the Rue de la Vallée. Unknown perpetrators accessed the house via the garden and forced open a patio door. They searched multiple rooms and stole clothing, watches and cash. A neighbour noticed the perpetrators, prompting them to flee towards a nearby forest. In their escape, they abandoned several bags. A police search was launched immediately, including the deployment of a police dog but the suspects were not found.

Moreover, in the early hours of Saturday 15 November, a flat on Rue de Grass in Clemency was broken into. Two individuals were seen leaving the property. The burglars then fled in a vehicle with Dutch licence plates in the direction of Grass. A search for the vehicle has so far been unsuccessful. The police have launched an investigation and carried out forensic work at the scene.
